Samuel's Story
At 11, Samuel was diagnosed with Cancer of the Kidney (Wilms’ Tumor). He is a quiet, reserved, loving and extremely well-mannered boy. He loves soccer so much and was saddest about not being able to play when he was diagnosed with cancer in January 2016. He is a very strong child that forges ahead despite all he has been through.
After innumerable scans, blood tests, doctor visits, Surgery, Radiotherapy, and Chemotherapy; he has been able to fight his way through. His cancer treatment took a great toll on his body and the recovery process has been long and slow.
Samuel never gives up, he never acts out, he never abandons his manners. Samuel is indeed a fighter and love to play more soccer with his friends.
Presently, he is on a scholarship from one of our supportive TDCF partners and his mum is super proud of his achievements.
