Inioluwa's Story
Inioluwa was only 5 years old when she was diagnosed with Wilms’ Tumor in 2016. She went through 6 cycles of Chemotherapy, a Nephrectomy (surgical removal of the kidney) in April 2016, Radiation therapy, and countless tests and investigations.
Inioluwa is very shy with strangers and takes a long time to warm up to people. Inioluwa and Emmanuel are best friends. They bonded after spending time together on the Pediatric Oncology wards receiving chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
Today, Inioluwa is a Childhood Cancer Survivor. She now eats more jollof rice (her favorite food) and is about to write her entrance examinations into secondary school!
