Dr Mrs Sade Ayo-Adebanjo
Sade Adebanjo is the Founder/CEO of HealthCare Fusion Ltd., an organisation strategically positioned to redene service delivery in Nigeria’s health sector by building efficient and effective health teams in every area spanning from preventive health to clinical interventions. She obtained her M.B.B.S (Bachelor of Medicine degree) from the University College Hospital, Ibadan, and M.P.H (Masters in Public Health) in Health Policy and Management from Columbia University in the City of New York.
She has over 10 years’ experience working in the Public Health Landscape. She has worked in both policy-implementing positions as Technical Adviser to the Primary Health Care Board and State Coordinator for HIV/AIDS in Lagos State, Nigeria; policy-making position as Special Adviser on Health Policy and Strategy in Ogun State, Nigeria and in the International donor agency world as a Senior Analyst for the Severe Malaria Program with the Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHASI). Her wealth of experience gives her a rare and widely sought-after practical understanding of a resource-constrained health system. This skill-set effortlessly bridges the gap between the knowledge of health management and its practice.
Sade’s interest is in the discovery of innovative ways of health care delivery. She is particularly passionate about cost management using economic principles of health. This she believes is achievable by instituting health insurance at the community level (Primary Health Care) and using PPPs for the provision of strategic technical, nancial and operational support at the secondary and Tertiary levels of the health care service delivery hierarchy not only for Maternal and Child Health, HIV/AIDS and Malaria, but the entire spectrum of the health system.
She is a member of the American Public Health Association and Global Health Council. In her spare time, Sade enjoys good music, good food and good company.
